Qld: One believed dead in rainy highway crash
BRISBANE, Feb 11 AAP - One person is believed dead in a three-vehicle crash at Peak
Downs Highway at Nebo in central Queensland.
The highway has been closed in both directions since the crash at 7am (AEST) on Wednesday,
and is expected to remain closed for several hours as emergency services assess the scene.
A prime mover fuel tanker involved in the crash has spilt fuel across the road.
A police spokeswoman said there was an unconfirmed fatality and heavy rain was slowing
the rescue efforts.
