Fed: Man in critical condition after being hit by car
CANBERRA, Aug 6 AAP - A 74-year-old man was in a critical condition in Canberra Hospitalafter he was hit by a car in the industrial suburb of Fyshwick, police said today.
Police said the man appeared to have been hit as he attempted to cross a busy Fyshwickstreet yesterday.
The man was taken to hospital in a stable condition with fractures, but his conditiondeteriorated during the night, police said in a statement.
Witnesses to the accident are urged to contact police.
